I was taking a look through my older stuff and I was staring at my horrible attempt at coloring skin a year or so ago on this picture here: [link]
I wanted to see if I've improved at all since then and I'd like to think I have. I was taking the image and converting it to B&W while I was working on it to check my values and make sure they were strong and I think that helped a lot. I also really like using textures on the background. This one's some crumpled paper and I like the organic feel it gives it. Hopefully I've done Felicia justice this time!
